The League of YQL Neighbourhoods is looking for individuals who have interest to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Lethbridge though grassroots and community-based organization.
Our objectives are:
– Foster and mentor neighbourhood groups in Lethbridge
– Create opportunities for collaboration between Lethbridge neighbourhood groups
– Act as a liaison between the City of Lethbridge and Lethbridge neighbourhood groups
– Assist neighbourhood groups with fundraising and grant opportunities
– Provide advocacy on behalf of and with Lethbridge neighbourhood
As the Board is just being established, the new Board is able to develop a schedule that fits their needs. Currently, YQL Neighbourhood Community Gatherings are held the evening of every third Wednesday of each month. The Board may choose to align their meetings with this gathering but are only required to meet a minimum of once every two months.
